Daniel Fast/Plan

 

 

Fasting and Prayer are used to help us realign our focus with God. Corporate fasting and prayer provides an element of agreement that produces results according to Gods word.  As we begin our 21 Day Daniel Plan/Fast and Prayer we encourage all who have volunteered to participate to be diligent and stay focus. Reading God’s word offers an excellent source of positive meditation. Please check the website, GroupMe, and social media outlets for daily faith declarations. We are here to support you.

2020 FOCUS: MAXIMIZING

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

Limiting food and leisure activities to spend quality time in the presence of God independent of/with minimal distractions, in order to draw closer and hear his voice clearly. To apply His wisdom in various areas (Faith, Family, Finances, Health, Relationships) that will result in maximize living.

ANNUAL FAST DETAILS:
Begins January 2nd @ 12:01am and ends at January 16th @ 12:00pm

 

RESTRICTIONS:

No Meat (baked or grill fish on Sundays ONLY)
Drinks (sodas, coffee, alcohol, etc)
Sweets (pastries, cakes, ice cream, candy, etc.)
Certain luxuries/pleasure (ie Movies, video games, social media (unless work related), etc.)

 

EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS ALLOWED:

Eggs
Pasta
Bread
Vegetables
Fruit
100 % Natural Juices
Water (The old fashioned “8 glasses of water a day” is fine but it depends on the size of the glass.
We need about 2.5 liters of water a day!)
Powerade /Gatorades (as needed)
Cooking with broth
